Just heard on NPR Bob Edwards interview, talking about how it some predicted big food shortages from over population by now, and saying it hadn't happened because of technology, and because the population had not increased as much as expected. No mention of the many people in Africa who have starved to death because of famine caused by droughts which have been made worse by global warming. And of course, that also contributed to less population than there would have been. No mention of how huge numbers of people in the Americas south of the U.S. have immigrated to the U.S. because of the negative impact from NAFTA on farmers income their, and from droughts, which were also made worse by global warming.
