FISA courts

Just heard an interview on NPR with someone on a panel investigating NSA data collection. He says it should all be done with orders from the FISA court. He admits that there are not currently enough judges and said: All that means is that we need more FISA judges.
What cave does he live in? Try getting the Republicans to pay for those judges. Try getting taxpayers to approve of raising taxes for this.
Of course, there is a lot of waste in government, eg., in the military, but it's not going to go away in the immediate future, if ever, because politicians benefit from campaign contributions and jobs in their own districts.
