Earth has its Warmest November in Recorded History

And we are currently in a part of the climate cycle where it should be cooler. The sun has been in a cooling phase, and the Pacific ocean oscillation is in a phase normally associated with a cooling atmosphere.

If you look at the maps that show the deviation from average temperature around the globe, no surprise the U.S. is one of the main areas which did not participate in the warming last month.!

November 2013 was the globe's warmest November since records began in 1880, according to NOAA's National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) and NASA. The year-to-date period of January - November has been the 4th warmest such period on record. November 2013 global land temperatures were the 2nd warmest on record, and global ocean temperatures were the 3rd warmest on record. November 2013 was the 345th [28 years + 9 months] consecutive month with global temperatures warmer than the 20th century average.
