Publix is 80% employee owned

I have seen figures of 20 or 25 members of the Jenkins family heirs who own the 20% of Publix that is not owned by employees, who own 80%.

I have seen people on Facebook blaming Publix for the actions of one of its family members.  But some of them shop at WalMart and Amazon, who mistreat their employees get some of their stuff from forced labor.  I would hate to be judged by the actions of some of my family members.

The company is the largest employee-owned company in the United States and is one of the 10 largest-volume supermarket chains in the country. Retail sales in 2019 reached $38.1 billion. Publix employs over 225,000 people. They get quarterly dividends just like a public company.
