Harry Reid suffers injuries in accident from malfunctioning exercise equipment

This is an example of why CEO's deserve such huge incomes, because of the safe & quality stuff they bring us [sarcasm].
Conservatives tell us we don't need government regulation to keep companies from doing wrong, that they will do right because they are afraid of being sued, but the Republicans on the supreme court have limited class action suits, and Republicans in Congress are trying to limit them.

Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nevada was injured at his home in Henderson, Nevada, when "a piece of equipment Senator Reid was using to exercise broke, causing him to fall and break a number of ribs and bones in his face," according to a statement released by Reid's office.

Reid was treated at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas. His doctors "expect a full recovery," and Reid's staff also says that he will return to Washington this weekend and back "in the office Tuesday as the Senate prepares to reconvene."
