Youtube needs to show some public spiritness

I am avoiding playing music videos because they slow down the internet and so many people need it for school and work. I wish I could play just audio on Youtube videos. I found out today it is possible, but only if you have the premium, paid version of Youtube. As a public service, Youtube should make this available to everybody during this Covid-19 crisis.
