I hate Microsoft!

I have a NetPad that came with Microsoft Windows 7 Starter, Word Starter 2010, and Excel Starter 2010.

When the automatic system updates are installed, often Word Starter & Excel Starter are deleted. I have to be connected to the internet to get the problem fixed, so I have to waste my computer time at someplace at Barnes and Noble fooling with it. I'll think I've got the problem fixed, then when I try to use the program at home, a piece is missing.

I installed openoffice.org this evening, and hope it can use the files I have, and stop having to waste my time fooling around with Microsoft.
