Two-way street to volcanic melting of Antartic ice

What the news is not mentioning about the finding of volcanic action under the Antarctic ice, that may be adding to the sea rise from global warming, by melting sea ice, is that it has been predicted that melting ice caps may increase volcanic action and earthquakes, because of decreased weight that had been holding things down. So it may be another feedback situation, where global warming has an effect on the environment that increases the effects of global warming. This has been happening, accounting for much of the fact that warming has increased faster than computer models predicted.

But the media is beholden to the fossil fuel industry for advertisement money. These companies are big conglomerates, owning many kinds of companies, so have more influence than might be apparent. And this includes NPR corporate donations.
