Young people not being responsible

Easy to see why Covid-19 is spreading so fast in Gwinnett County, GA. When I left the polling equipment training yesterday evening, there were large groups of young people there for sports programs, no masks, no social distancing.

I remember years ago, when I was teaching Sunday School, a 16-year old told me she thought people should be allowed to vote when they were 16.  I told her she would probably change her mind by the time she was 25.  She obviously didn't agree.  I wonder what she would say now.

Considering the behaviour of people in their teens and early 20's, it seems to be a good thing that they mostly don't bother to vote.
