Lies and damn lies

The blatant lies the conservatives are telling to try to prevent health care for those who can't afford it makes me proud that I haven't voted for a Republican since before 1980. Those people are so evil. There would have to be a really extreme situation for me to ever vote for a Republican again. I'm sure Eisenhower would be horrified. (I was too young to vote at that time, for the record :)

I won't repeat the particular thing that has me so riled up, because it might end up spreading these lies. When people read a statement that something is not true, they often remember the part that was denied, w/o remembering the denial. Of course, there's always something from those sociopaths, who try to manipulate most of us for the financial benefit of the power elite.
