Alcoholism a social problem in France

The headline on the article is "Alcoholism becoming a social problem in France", but this is not a new problem. Maybe it's becoming worse.

It is not difficult to have access to alcohol in France.
Even supermarkets are allowed to sell wine and beers.
Doctors dealing with alcoholics say more patients are getting dependent on alcohol due to the economic crisis.

Alcohol addiction causes deaths, not just in families and homes but also on streets. Drunken driving is among the biggest causes behind road accidents in France.

There is a big mistake in the commenter words of this video...
Baclofen is NOT ILLEGAL in France, it was just prescribed as "off-label" drug for alcohol addiction until 2013-06-03 when it has been APPROVED to treat alcholism.

Now a lot of French people are treated with Baclofen and the results they are really good.
An important study has been made by a French doctor (Dr R. de Beaurepaire) titled: "Suppression of Alcohol Dependence Using Baclofen: A 2-Year Observational Study of 100 Patients"
You can find it for free on the web.

Baclofen works as a cure for alcoholism.
