I'm reading a couple of books that remind me of current affairs.
"A Woman of No Importance", by Sonia Purnell, is the biography of a remarkable woman who was largely responsible for organizing the resistance to the Nazis in France, helping the Allies defeat the Nazis during WWII. Her courage and honor contrasts strongly with the republican politicians who are too cowardly and desirous of power to oppose Trump. Most of the republican politicians remind me of the French government officials who cooperated with the German occupiers.
In "The Rise of Skywalker", by Rae Carson, Trump reminds me of the Sith, and his followers remind me of the First Order.
