Since it appears that voters have decided to continue with a majority republican U.S. Senate, they most not want speedy, effective help for people who are unemployed because of Covid.
But I might be misjudging voters, because at this point, I don't know if we have the same situation as in 2018, where a majority of voters voted for Democrats, but a majority of republicans were elected, because of the fact that all states have the same number of U.S. Senators, no matter how many or few voters they have.
And there is only so much change that can be done in any one year, since only a third of the Senate is up for election every two years.
