Media promotes divisiveness

Isn't it interesting that as soon as an African-American man was arrested for arson at several African-American churches, we stopped seeing publicity on the arson.

Of course, that means the arson is no longer useful as a means of distracting people from problems that threaten all of us from the actions of the power elite.

St. Louis man charged in two local church fires; remains suspect in five others: police

A suspected arsonist, with tattooed flames seen rising from his chest, has been arrested in a string of church fires in St. Louis, Mo.

David Lopez Jackson, 35, was charged Friday for torching two of seven predominantly black parishes this month while remaining a suspect in the other cases — including at a relative's home, authorities said.

Surveillance video linked the local, African-American man’s vehicle to two of the fires on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18, Metropolitan Police Chief Sam Dotson said.

A search of his car, which Jackson said he has exclusive use of, recovered gas canisters and a Thermos bottle which smelled of gasoline. That accelerant matched the kind that had been poured on each of the churches' doors, Dotson said.

A motive for the attacks remains under investigation at this time, though it's not believed to be a hate crime, Dotson said.
