Are you really against all socialism?

"Democratic socialism", actually is a mixture of capitalism and socialism.

If we took away all socialistic program in the U.S., we wouldn't have government insurance of our bank accounts; social security; medicare; unemployment insurance; public funding for education; public roads; public health systems that track down and deal with epidemics, food poisoning outbreaks, etc.; regulations & enforcement of safe products, including food, drugs, machines; public police & fire departments; public departments to rescue people during floods; public water & sewer sytems; etc.
