Four tropical storms that killed 793 people in August and September and caused $1 billion in damage made Haiti's ongoing food crisis even worse. Medical aid organizations Doctors Without Borders and Medicins du Monde are setting up nutrition and screening clinics and scouring the area and other parts of the country for more pockets of hunger.
