When I was doing taxes for Tax-Aide a few years ago, one of our elderly clients had $30,000 in fees that had been paid from their retirement investments due to their financial adviser churning : making a lot of buys & sells because he gets a fee on each transaction. We brought it to their attention, and they said they like him. They weren't senile, but kind of vague, like a lot of people get when they get old.

Mentions of local commitments and partnerships have been scaled back. The EPA could also be heading toward a pull back from supporting U.S. communities, including some of the poorest in the country. The updated partners page has removed mentions of the Tribal Environmental General Assistance Program.
