Whew. I worked at the polls yesterday. Got up at 4am, at polls from 6am - 9pm. And I usually don't get up until at least 9am. Campaigning is over, and my side lost.

Some thoughts:

After six years of Republicans holding back the economy for their own political advantage, the voters rewarded them by giving even more power.

Right after a U.N. report on the dangers of continued global warming, Americans elect a bunch of Republicans, who have been blocking efforts to deal with this problem, and who promise to continue to do so. And I'm supposed to think that the God who created the universe created humans as some special creature? ROTFL
